County, unions sign three-year agreement; pay for performance component in place

COUNTY – Shelby County employees, those covered under a union agreement and those who are not, will see a 2.25 percent salary increase next year under a proposal approved by the county’s board of supervisors.
In addition, the employees have the possibility of receiving an additional one percent salary increase upon receiving a satisfactory performance evaluation at the six-month date of the fiscal year.
