Eleanor Brown, 96

    AVOCA -- Eleanor Caroline Brown, 96, Avoca, died March 1 at her home.
    Services will be held Tuesday, March 5 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Avoca with burial in the Graceland Cemetery in Avoca.
    A rosary was held Monday, March 4 at 7 p.m. at Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Avoca.  Family greeted friends from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home on Monday.
    Brown is survived by sons Gary (Nancy) Brown of Hastings, NE, James (Connie) Brown of Walnut, Randy (Linda) Brown of Omaha, NE and Gregory Brown of Dunlap; daughter Rosann (James) Nauman of Avoca; sisters Mary Clare Klindt of Harlan; 18 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren.
