Joseph Reinig, 93

    HARLAN -- Joseph S. Reinig, 93, Harlan, died October 6 at Elm Crest Retirement Community.
    Services will be held Thursday, Oct. 12 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary Our Lady of Fatima Church in Portsmouth with burial in the St. Mary’s Cemetery at Portsmouth.  A rosary will be held Wednesday, Oct. 11 at 7 p.m. at the church.  Visitation will be Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. at Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Harlan and from 5-8 p.m. at the church in Portsmouth.
    Reinig is survived by daughters Betty (John) Kubicek of Omaha, NE, Laura (John) Ilcisin of Omaha, Ella (Bob) McAlexander of Omaha, Loretta (Adrian) Fechner of Blair, NE, and Kathy (John) Goetz of Polk City; sons Mike (Charlotte) Reinig of Melbourne, FL, Richard (Roxanne) Reinig of Portsmouth, Jim (Chris) Reinig of Gretna, NE, Vince (Christy) Reinig of Mount Shasta, CA, and Dan (Lori) Reinig of Portsmouth; sister Cecilia Tunnell of San Luis Obispo, CA; brothers Tony (Mildred) Reinig of Harlan and Al (Millie) Reinig of Harlan; brother-in-law Robert (Connie) Leinen of Persia; sisters-in-law Virginia Reinig of Portsmouth, Mary Ellen Reisz of Portsmouth, Betty Reinig of Overland Park, KS, Joyce Reinig of California, Cleo (Harry) Lefeber of Minden, and Lois (Duane) Book of Fort Lupton, CO; 18 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
