HARLAN -- Merle Bettcher, 80, Harlan, died January 5 at Myrtue Medical Center in Harlan.
Services will be held Tuesday, Jan. 9 at 11 a.m. at Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Harlan with burial at a later date. Visitation is Tuesday from 9-11 a.m. at the funeral home.
Bettcher is survived by his wife, Frances Bettcher, of Harlan; daughters Tammy Garrison of Harlan and Kris (Mark) Maxwell of Harlan; son Terry (Holly) Bettcher of LaVista, NE; sister Liane Bintz of Council Bluffs; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
