Roy Fries, 85

    ELK HORN -- Roy Lee Fries, 85, Elk Horn, died March 6 at the Salem Lutheran Home in Elk Horn.
    Services will be held Monday, March 11 at 11 a.m. at Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Harlan with burial in the Harlan Cemetery.  Family will greet friends Sunday, March 10 from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.  Visitation is Sunday from 2-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
    Fries is survived by his wife, Ruth (Sick) Fries of Harlan; sons Donald Fries of Harlan, David (Brenda) Fries of Denison, Brian (Tammie) Fries of Kiron and Duane (Nichole) Fries of Council Bluffs; brothers Hugh Fries of Texas, Ivan (Kathleen) Fries of Irwin and Bob (Judy) Fries of West Concord, MN; sister Sue (Eldon) Bristol of Seattle, WA; 13 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
