2A Girls Regional Golf: Knop moves on, Jorgensen left out

 RED OAK (May 14) -- AHSTW senior Lexy Knop shot a 99 and junior Emma Jorgensen was close behind with a 100 at Monday’s Class 2A Girls First Round Regional Golf Tournament at the Red Oak Country Club.
 Only Knop, however, will advance to the next round of competition.
 Knop’s 18-hole 99 (49-50) tied for sixth place and earned her a spot in the May 21 Region 2 final at Menlo’s 5x80 Golf and Country Club. Only the top eight individual scores (plus ties) qualify for the regional final. Jorgensen’s 100 (52-48) was tied for ninth overall.
