HCHS 4, Des Moines Roosevelt 1
 DES MOINES (July 10) -- Senior Jacob Bartley pitched his third straight complete game and had arguably his best outing of the season Tuesday as the Cyclones won 4-1 at Des Moines Roosevelt (15-22).
 Bartley (6-0) tossed a seven-hitter, walked two and struck out five, following up his 71-pitch performance against Shenandoah last week with an 87-pitch gem against the Class 4A Roughriders.
 Offensively, Jared Moser batted 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored while Logan Klaassen was 2-for-3 with a triple and two RBI.
HCHS 11, CB Abraham Lincoln 1
 HARLAN (July 9) -- The Cyclones scored five runs in the first and kept on pulling away Monday, beating the Lynx 11-1 in six innings as five players were honored on Senior Night.
 Brett Sears and Nick Foss both went 3-for-4 at the plate for HCHS, including two doubles by Foss and one by Sears. Luke Schaben, Logan Klaassen and Jacob Bartley all had two-hit games and Jared Moser added a double as part of the Cyclones’ 14-hit attack.
 Sophomore Connor Bruck made his final regular-season start for the Cyclones, improving to 7-0 with four innings of three-hit ball. He allowed one earned run, walked one and struck out four. Riley Kohles finished up with two perfect innings of relief, striking out the side in the seventh.
 HCHS seniors recognized with their parents before the game included Jacob Bartley, Logan Klaassen, Jared Moser, Nick Foss and Ryan Doran.
