Heese named Hudl Baseball Coach of the Year in Nebraska

 BENNINGTON, NEB. -- Earling native Scott Heese has been named the 2018-2019 Nebraska Coaches Association Hudl Baseball Coach of the Year for all classes.
 Heese was presented his award on July 21 at the NCA Awards Banquet in Lincoln. Coaches of the year are selected by their peers for service to their respective sport and for the success they have had in recent years. Each of these recipients receives a ring from Balfour and a plaque.
 A former Harlan Community student-athlete, Scott is the son of the late Francis Heese and Mary Heese, rural Earling, and a 1992 HCHS graduate. Scott and his wife Jennie currently reside in Bennington with their three children: Trevor (16), Katelyn (16) and Haley (15).
