IKM-M girls win big over Tri-Center

 MANNING (Jan. 30) -- The IKM-Manning girls generated 34 Tri-Center turnovers with their full court pressure and shot 65 percent from the field in Tuesday night’s 73-22 home win over the Trojans.
 The 14th-ranked (2A) Wolves, who have now won 11 of their last 12 games, raced out to a 22-6 lead after one quarter and extended the margin to 52-17 at halftime and 68-18 after three. They improved to 14-4 overall and 13-3 in Western Iowa Conference play, tied with Logan-Magnolia for second place behind Treynor (17-1, 16-0 WIC).
 Four IKM-M players scored in double figures, led by Gabby Cadwell with 14 points on 6-of-8 shooting. Peyton Gross (6-of-8) and Shauna Reitan both scored 13 points while Paige Gaskill (4-of-4, two 3-pointers) had 10.
 Kia Rasmussen, the program’s new all-time assist leader, finished with nine points, seven assists and four steals, Payton Sporrer scored six points and Alexa Ahrenholtz and Caitlin Muhlbauer (8 assists, 5 steals) both chipped in four.
