Lady Vike volleyball team looks to defend home tourney crown

 AVOCA (Aug. 31) -- AHSTW will host seven other teams Saturday for the season-opening Lady Vike Tournament, with pool play starting at 8:30 a.m.
 AHSTW, the defending tourney champion, will compete in Pool A (high school gym) against Essex, Denison-Schleswig and CAM, playing in the first, third and sixth matches of the day. Pool B, in the elementary gym, will feature Atlantic, Thomas Jefferson, Earlham and Riverside.
 Following pool play, the top two teams from each pool will square off in the high school gym - 1A vs. 2B and 1B vs. 2A - with the winners playing to determine the champion.
