Moser, Doran playing for Daeges in Senior All-Star Series

 IOWA CITY -- Harlan Community seniors Jared Moser and Ryan Doran will play for head coach Steve Daeges one last time this weekend as part of the Iowa High School Baseball Coaches Association All-Star Series at Duane Banks Field in Iowa City.
 Moser, a catcher, and Doran, a first baseman, have been selected to play for the Small Schools West Squad, with Daeges serving as the head coach. Daeges will be assisted by Creston’s Steve Birchard and Hinton’s Cale Kramer.
 Four senior all-star teams will play against each other over the course of four days, Thursday, August 2 through Sunday, August 5.
 Moser (.336, 13 doubles, 20 steals, 38 runs) and Doran (.457, 18 doubles, 8 homers, 41 runs, 35 RBI) batted first and second, respectively, for the Cyclones, who went 33-4 overall and made a fourth straight appearance in the Class 3A state title game last Saturday.
