Substate Soccer: Solid first half leads Vikings past Panthers

 STUART (May 21) -- The AHSTW boys soccer team built a 3-1 halftime lead and made it stand on Monday, beating Panorama by that same score in a Class 1A substate quarterfinal game at Stuart.
 Blake Osbahr and Brayton Tuma both scored Viking goals in the first 19 minutes for a 2-0 lead and both sides scored off corner kicks before halftime. Tuma put in AHSTW’s final goal with 7:27 left in the half, directing Kyle Branan’s corner kick into the back of the net.
 AHSTW finished with 22 total shots (eight on goal) vs. the Panthers, who had 13 shots (seven on goal). Osbahr and Tuma led the Vikings with eight and six shots, respectively, and Lucas Young came up with six saves.
