Titans start fast, rout Wolves 38-0
MANNING (Sept. 7) -- South Central Calhoun scored 19 first-quarter points and continued to pull away in the second half last Friday night, defeating the IKM-Manning football team 38-0 in non-district action. The Wolves (2-1) were outgained 448-165 in total offense.
Chase McAlister opened the scoring with a 55-yard interception return TD for the Titans and Keagan Meyer added two first-quarter scoring runs, including a 54-yarder.
Stephen Grimm led the Wolves with 74 rushing yards on 18 carries while Keaton Allmon had nine rushes for 40 yards and Nathan Blankman added a 13-yard run. IKM-M quarterback Kyler Rasmussen completed 7-of-12 passes for 37 yards but was picked off twice.
Alex Lingle and Colten Brandt led the IKM-Manning defense with 15 and 14 total tackles, respectively.
