Wolves beat West Monona girls

 MANNING (Nov. 19) -- The IKM-Manning girls basketball team raced out to a 24-10 lead after one quarter and beat West Monona 69-39 in an Iowa Hall of Pride Scrimmage here Monday.
 Caitlin Muhlbauer had a huge game in the post for IKM-M, making 11-of-15 shots and scoring a game-high 24 points. Lexi Branning added a double-double with 13 points and 15 rebounds while Gabrielle Cadwell and Alexa Ahrenholtz scored nine points each and Nicole Hanson and Sydney Wegner both added six. Joanna Freese rounded out the scoring with two.
 The Wolves shared the basketball on 21 of their 26 made field goals, led by Cadwell’s seven assists and five by Ahrenholtz. Cadwell added 10 rebounds and six steals and Ahrenholtz had nine of the team’s 21 total steals.
