Birthday Milestones - Arden Hargens

    EARLING -- Arden Hargens of Earling will celebrate his 80th birthday on April 10. His family is requesting a card shower in his honor. Cards will reach him if sent to 304 3rd St., PO Box 68, Earling, IA 51530. A family gathering to celebrate his birthday will be scheduled in the near future.
    Arden’s family includes five daughters: Melodie and Duane Boell, Manilla; Jamie Hansen, Manilla; Julie and Mark Smith, Durant, OK; Jill and Darin Ferry, Portsmouth; Jodi Hargens, Council Bluffs; 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
    Arden’s wife is the late Gloria Hargens (who passed away in November 2016).
