Weddings - Austin and Elizabeth Euchner

    HARLAN -- Elizabeth Fields and Austin Euchner both of Omaha exchanged marriage vows at the Harlan Golf and Country Club on September 26, 2020. The bride’s godfather, Brian Ortner, performed the 4 p.m. double ring ceremony.
    Parents of the couple are Randy and Jeanne Fields, Harlan; and John and Kim Euchner, Sioux Falls, SD.
    Grandparents of the bride are John and Myra Buman, Harlan; and Sue Fields, Omaha, and the late Raymond Fields.
    Grandparents of the groom are Mike and Ellen Rogers, Waterloo; Glenn Euchner, Harlan; and Nancy and Mike Bryan, Greenville, SC.
    The bride was escorted down the aisle by her parents. Elizabeth’s accessories included a bracelet from the groom’s mother.
Placed in the bride’s bouquet was a blue rosary made by her maternal grandmother and her late grandfather’s Chief Master Sergeant Insignia.
    Maid of honor was Elizabeth Dresen, Ankeny. Attending as bridesmaids were Sarah Oliver, Carroll; Brooke Schaben, Ankeny; and Megan Euchner, sister of groom, Des Moines.  The bride’s personal attendant was Kara Boyle, Ankeny.
    Best man was Matthew Stessman, West Des Moines. Attending as groomsmen were Sam Anderson, Iowa City; Austin Kesterson, Omaha; and John Fields, brother of bride, Ankeny. Ringbearer was Brody Tuma, Harlan. Guests were ushered by the bride’s brothers, Joseph Fields, Maryville, MO; and Anthony Fields, Harlan.
    A reception and dance were also held at the Harlan Golf and Country Club. Guest book attendant was Jennifer Buman, aunt of bride, Harlan.
    The rehearsal dinner, hosted by the bride’s and groom’s parents, was held at the Portsmouth Legion Hall.
    The bride and groom are 2012 graduates of Harlan Community High School. Elizabeth is a graduate of Iowa State University where she earned a degree in elementary education. Elizabeth is employed as a fifth grade teacher in the Omaha Public Schools.
    Austin is also a graduate of Iowa State University where he was awarded a degree in software engineering. He is employed as a progammer at American Amusements and as a supervisor at UPS.
    Elizabeth and Austin plan a honeymoon at a later date. The Euchners are at home in Omaha.
