Crawford County Freedom Rock should be completed this week

    MANILLA -- Ray “Bubba” Sorensen of Greenfield was in downtown Manilla last week painting the Crawford County Freedom Rock. Sorensen began painting on Sunday and expected to have it completed by the end of the week. The Shelby County Freedom Rock also was painted by Sorensen.
    The Freedom Rock Tour, created by Sorensen, aims to boost tourism and spread the message of thanking our veterans while providing a unique-to-their-area Freedom Rock for all 99 counties in Iowa.
