Eileen Elenor Pauley, 76

Eileen Elenor Pauley, 76, died Saturday, July 20 at Myrtue Medical Center, attaining the age of 76 years, two months and 21 days.
Eileen, the daughter of Anthony and Elenor (Thraen) Schleimer, was born on a farm in Panama on April 29, 1943. She attended country school and St. Mary’s High School in Panama, graduating with the class of 1960. After high school, Eileen was employed at the A.S.C.S. office in Harlan and also worked at Mickel’s Café in Harlan.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and her brothers Charles and Raymond Schleimer.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 54 years Kenneth Pauley of Panama; her children Darren Pauley of  Denison; Kerry Pauley of Panama; Brad Pauley and his wife Zamira of Jacksonville, FL; and Jason Pauley and his wife Annie of Des Moines; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sisters Alice Rau of Portsmouth and Marilyn Alfers of Neola; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A 10:30 AM Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated by Rev. David Smith S.J. on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Panama. Burial was held at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Panama.
