Francis Funk, 78

    PORTSMOUTH -- Francis “Frank” Funk, 78, Portsmouth, died October 4 at his home.
    Services will be held Tuesday, Oct. 8 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary Our Lady of Fatima Church in Portsmouth with burial at a later date.  A wake service was held Monday, Oct. 7 at 7 p.m. at the church.  Family greeted friends Monday from 4-8 p.m. at the church.
    Funk is survived by his wife, Judith Funk, of Portsmouth; daughters Susan (Daniel) Schulte of Portsmouth, Kelly (Bob Fox) Keane of Panama and Kathi (Jim) Christie of Omaha, NE; son Kyle (Julie) Funk of Portsmouth; brother-in-law George Arkfeld of Oceanside, CA; sisters-in-law Lucille Funk of Seattle, WA and Carol Funk of Sacramento, CA; 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
    Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Harlan is in charge of arrangements.
