John Stamp, 85

    PERSIA -- John Ferdinand Bauer Stamp, 85, Persia, died Sunday, April 24 at Jennie Edmundson Hospital in Council Bluffs.
    Services will be held Saturday, April 30 at 11 a.m. at Cutler-O’Neill-Meyer-Woodring Bayliss Park Chapel.  Military rites will be tendered by Persia American Legion.
    Stamp is survived by his wife, Betty; children Jack (Kristine) of Persia, David (Jean) of Woodbine, and Kurt (Caroline) of Persia; eight grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; and brother-in-law Stanley Martens of Portsmouth.
