Larry Axland, 81

    MANILLA -- Larry Axland, 81, Manilla, died August 21 at Hansen House.
    Services will be held Saturday, Aug. 24 at 11 a.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Irwin with burial in the Oak Hill Cemetery at Irwin.  Visitation is Saturday from 9-11 a.m. at the church.
    Axland is survived by sons Lance Axland of Irwin and Tim (Connie) Axland of West Des Moines; daughters Carmen (Randy) Rasmussen of Jacksonville and Jill (John) Plagman of Corley; brother Dean (Sharon) Axland of Nevada; sister-in-law Dwanna Axland of Council Bluffs; 16 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
    Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Harlan is in charge of arrangements.
