Lauretta Kenkel, 85

    HARLAN -- Lauretta Catherine Kenkel, 85, Harlan, died August 6 at Elm Crest Retirement Community in Harlan.
    Services will be held Saturday, Aug. 14 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s of the Assumption Church in Panama with burial in the St. Mary’s Cemetery at Panama.  Visitation is Friday, Aug. 13 from 5-8 p.m. at the St. Mary’s Parish Center.  A rosary will be held Friday at 7 p.m. at the parish center.
    Kenkel is survived by brothers Fr. Leonard Kenkel of Harlan, Sylvan (Joyce) Kenkel of Panama, David (Joyce) Kenkel of Panama, Damian Kenkel of Panama, and Eugene (Patricia Jane) Kenkel of Panama; sister Sr. Sylvia Kenkel OSB of Atchison, KS; and sister-in-law Patricia Kenkel of Chicago, IL.
