Luke Clark

Harlan - Luke passed away December 30th, 2024. He was 70 years old. He was born November 11, 1954 in Oskaloosa, Iowa the son of Gerald and Shirley (Lamere) Clark. Luke received his education from Harlan Community High School and graduated with the class of 1973. After graduation Luke attended Dunwoody Technical College in Minneapolis, MN.
Luke loved canoeing on the Nish, all things outdoors, riding his Harley and a good cold Budweiser.
Luke is preceded in death by his wife, Julie Clark (Stein) and his parents, Jerry and Shirley Clark.
Luke is survived by his wife, Trudy Clark (Pile) of Harlan and Green Mountain Falls, CO; Children: Gretchen Cote (Clark) Harlan and Jared Clark of Phoenix, AZ; Granddaughters: Evalyn Cote and Kiley Cote; Sister, Isabel Lewis; Brothers: David (Jill) Clark, Frank (Mindy) Clark, all of Harlan; many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and great nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family is asking or monetary donations to go towards planting trees and a plaque in Luke’s memory.
A Celebration of life will be held at a future date.  Services are entrusted to the Heartland Funeral Home in Harlan.
