Michael Hope, 63

    AVOCA -- Michael “Mike” James Hope, 63, Avoca, died October 18 at Myrtue Medical Center in Harlan.
    Services will be held Friday, Oct. 25 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Avoca with burial in the Graceland Cemetery at Avoca.  A rosary will be held Thursday, Oct. 24 at 8 p.m. at the church.  Visitation is Thursday from 3-8 p.m. with family greeting friends from 5-8 p.m. at the church.
    Hope is survived by his mother, Mary Jean (Minar) Hope of Omaha, NE; wife Rhonda Hope of Avoca; daughters Chantelle (fiance Justin Harre) Hope of Council Bluffs and Chondra Hope of Council Bluffs; son Nicholas Hope of Avoca; sister Tamasine (Radley) Clemens of Omaha; and brothers Thomas Hope of Omaha, Steven (Katy) Hope of Omaha and Richard Hope of Blair, NE.
