Msgr. Gerald Stessman, 83

    DES MOINES -- Msgr. Gerald J. Stessman, 83, Des Moines, died Monday, April 4 at Mercy Hospice in Johnston.
    Services will be held Monday, April 11 at 11 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Des Moines with burial in the St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Earling at approximately 4:30 p.m. following the funeral.  Visitation will be from 2-7 p.m. Sunday, April 10 at the church with a vigil service at 7 p.m.
    Stessman is survived by brothers and sisters Marcus (Peg) Stessman of Earling, Rita (Don) Wall of Omaha, NE, Dolores (Marvin) Klein of Dunlap, Donald (JoAnn) Stessman of Dunlap, Leo (Mary) Stessman of Omaha, Helen Reisz of Woodbine, Ronald Stessman of Omaha, and Gail (Maureen) Stessman of Dunlap; sisters-in-law Kathryn Stessman of Dunlap and Connie Stessman of Bellevue, NE; nieces and nephews.
