Phyllis "Tiny" Smith, 89

    PANAMA -- Phyllis “Tiny” Smith, 89, Panama, died August 19 at Myrtue Medical Center.
    Services were held Monday, Aug. 23 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary Our Lady of Fatima Church in Portsmouth with burial in the St. Mary’s Cemetery in Portsmouth.
    Smith is survived by her husband, Martin Smith, of Panama; daughters Diane (Dave) Jacobsen of Harlan, Sue (Scott) Duhachek of Oakland, and Lori (Brent) Hugen of Albia; son Jay (Bobbi) Smith of New Virginia; son-in-law David Miller of Panama; 17 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
    Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Harlan was in charge of arrangements.
