Vera Laver, 96

    ELK HORN -- Vera Alene Laver, 96, Elk Horn, died March 13 at Myrtue Medical Center, Harlan.
    Services will be held Wednesday, March 16 at 10:30 a.m. at Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Harlan with burial in the Rose Hill Cemetery at Kirkman.  Family will greet friends Tuesday, March 15 from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
    Laver is survived by sons Leslie Laver of Aurora, CO, Jim (Eva) Laver of Harlan, Lynn (Norma) Laver of Rock Springs, WY, Randy (Mary) Laver of Council Bluffs and Gene (Shauna) Laver of Harlan; daughter Nancy (Tim Grimsley) Laver of Avoca; son-in-law Don Plumb of Harlan; 27 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren.
