AHSTW wins pair of thrillers at Lo-Ma

 LOGAN (Dec. 19) -- The AHSTW basketball teams went into Christmas break on a high note Thursday night with a varsity doubleheader sweep at Logan-Magnolia. The Lady Vikes outlasted the Panther girls 48-45 in overtime in a battle of state-ranked teams, then the Viking boys blew a 17-point second-half lead before winning 60-58 on a pair of Michael Mantell free throws with :01.3 left on the clock.
 The Vikings (8-0) and Lady Vikes (8-1) enter the holidays with a combined 16 wins and will return to action January 7 against Treynor. See Friday’s Harlan News-Advertiser for more details.
