Lady Vikes beat IKM-Manning

 AVOCA (June 8) -- One night after winning 4-2 at Logan-Magnolia, the AHSTW softball team used three big innings to defeat IKM-Manning 13-1 Tuesday in four innings.
 The Lady Vikes scored five runs in the first, four in the third and four in the fourth to win by the rule. They totaled eight hits and took advantage of 11 walks.
 Grace Porter led AHSTW at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two runs scored and one RBI. Graycen Partlow, Ally Meyers, Kailey Jones, Sienna Christian, Loralei Wahling and Logan Akers added one hit apiece and Partlow also drew three walks. Christian and Wahling both scored three runs.
 Meyers pitched all four innings for the win, allowing two hits and one run while striking out four.
 For IKM-M, Jessica Christensen tripled and Zoey Melton had an RBI double.
