SCS opening night Saturday, June 6
HARLAN -- It’s official.
The Shelby County Speedway will open its 2020 racing season Saturday night (June 6) following five weeks of cancellations due to COVID-19.
The track season includes 10 Saturdays this summer with the exception of July 4 and July 25, concluding with the season championships on August 22.
The 28th Annual Tiny Lund Memorial will be held September 25-26.
As of now, the grandstand will be open to 50 percent capacity and the concession stand will be operational. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for students ages 6-18. Kids 5 and under get in free.
The pits will open at 3:30 p.m. Saturday and the gates will open at 5:00, followed by hot laps at 6:00 and racing at 6:30.
