State qualifying cross country meets October 24

 REGIONAL -- State qualifying cross country meets will be held statewide on Thursday, October 24, at 4:00 p.m. The Harlan Community girls and boys squads will compete in a 13-team, Class 3A state qualifier at Atlantic’s Nishna Hills Golf Course while AHSTW, IKM-Manning and Exira-Elk Horn-Kimballton will travel to Mount Ayr for a 1A state qualifier at the Mount Ayr Golf and Country Club.

 Teams Competing: ADM, Atlantic, Boone, Carlisle, Creston, Denison-Schleswig, Glenwood, Greene County (boys only), Harlan Community, Kuemper Catholic, North Polk, Perry, Saydel.
CLASS 1A • MOUNT AYR COUNTRY CLUB • 4:00 P.M.
 Teams Competing: AHSTW, Ankeny Christian Academy, Audubon, Bedford, CAM, Clarinda Academy, Coon Rapids-Bayard, Diagonal, Earlham, East Mills, East Union, Essex, Exira-Elk Horn-Kimballton, Fremont-Mills, Griswold, IKM-Manning, Interstate 35, Lenox, Martensdale-St. Marys, Mount Ayr, Nodaway Valley, Ogden, Orient-Macksburg, Riverside, Sidney, Southwest Valley, Stanton, Van Meter, Wayne.

 The top 3 teams and top 15 individuals from each state qualifying meet will advance to the Coed State Cross Country Championships November 2 in Fort Dodge.
