Viking wrestlers win first sectional title

 OAKLAND -- Scoring 240 points and sending eight wrestlers to the next round, AHSTW earned its first sectional wrestling championship in school history Saturday with a dominant performance at the Class 1-A Sectional Tournament in Oakland.
 With the team victory, the Vikings advance to Tuesday’s 1-A Regional Dual meet in Sloan. They will face OA-BCIG in the semifinal round at 6:00 p.m., with the winner advancing to face Westwood or Hinton. Eight AHSTW wrestlers, including six sectional champions, also advanced to this Saturday’s 1-A District Tournament at Underwood by placing first or second.
