Vikings make it to 6-0 with 11-point win over Wolves

MANNING -- AHSTW kept its unbeaten season alive and IKM-Manning’s frustrations continued Friday night as the Vikings scored 27 unanswered points in a 27-16 road win over the Wolves.
IKM-M led 8-0 after one quarter and 8-7 at halftime but didn’t score again until it trailed by three touchdowns in the fourth quarter. The Wolves’ third straight loss - by a combined total of 21 points - dropped them to 2-4 overall and 1-3 in Class 1-A, District 7, basically eliminating them from playoff contention with three games remaining.
AHSTW, meanwhile, improved to 6-0 overall and 4-0 in district play, tied with Logan-Magnolia for first place. Missouri Valley entered the night unbeaten as well, but was upset by OA-BCIG, 39-17.
