Vikings run away from Wolves behind 50-point 2nd half

 AVOCA (Dec. 10) -- Tied with IKM-Manning 25-25 at the half, the AHSTW boys took their game to another level in the second half and pulled away for a 75-46 Western Iowa Conference home win over the Wolves.
 The Vikings, still unbeaten at 4-0 overall and 3-0 in the WIC, outscored IKM-M 28-10 in the third quarter and 22-11 in the fourth behind a big half from sophomore Raydden Grobe.
 Grobe finished with 20 points and 10 rebounds for the Vikings, who made 9-of-22 three-pointers and shot 54 percent overall. Senior Clayton Akers hit three treys and totaled 19 points and six boards, freshman Brayden Lund scored 12 points and senior Sam Porter had nine points, six rebounds, five assists and four steals.
 IKM-Manning was led by Colby Keller’s 15-point, 10-rebound double-double. Keller and Nolan Ramsey (9 points) both shot 3-of-4 from beyond the three-point arc. Parker Behrens and Kyler Rasmussen added six points apiece for the Wolves (2-2, 2-1 WIC).
