Vikings top Audubon 10-6

AUDUBON -- Keyed by a seven-run fourth inning, the AHSTW baseball team earned a season split vs. Audubon Monday night with a 10-6, weather-shortened victory over the Wheelers.
Play was halted due to lightning at the end of the sixth inning and the game was called less than an hour later.
The Vikings trailed 3-1 when they erupted for seven runs on six hits in the top of the fourth, then added two in the fifth to go ahead 10-3.
Blaine Lees had two hits during the pivotal fourth frame, Preslyn Grobe and Joey Cunningham both put down bunt singles and Blake Osbahr supplied a two-run single. Audubon also committed two errors in the inning behind starting pitcher Josh Lange.
