Rieschl named Hospice Volunteer of the Year
HARLAN — Jim Reischl has been recognized for his service at Myrtue Medical Center, and has been named Hospice Volunteer of the Year.
Through his unwavering commitment to compassionate care, Jim has made a profound impact on the patients, families, and staff served by the hospice program.
As a volunteer chaplain, Jim provides spiritual and emotional support to individuals and families during one of life’s most challenging transitions. He approaches each encounter with dignity, respect, and empathy, offering comfort that transcends words. His ability to listen deeply, provide meaningful reflection, and honor each person’s unique faith journey has brought solace and peace to many.
In addition to direct patient care, Jim consistently demonstrates professionalism, collaboration, and dedication to the hospice team.
