DEFIANCE -- Janet Jean Dotzler, 72, Defiance, died November 26 at Myrtue Medical Center in Harlan.    Services were held Monday, Nov. 30 at 11 a.m. at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Defiance with burial in the Sts.

    HARLAN -- Margaret Ann Plumb, 75, Harlan, died November 26 at Elm Crest Retirement Community.    Services were held Monday, Nov. 30 at 11 a.m.

    EARLING -- Darell D. Muller, 90, Earling, formerly of Harlan, died Saturday, Nov. 28 in Harlan.    Services will be held Wednesday, Dec. 2 at 11 a.m. at Burmeister-Johannsen Funeral Home in Harlan with burial in the Harlan Cemetery.  Friends may call Tuesday, Dec. 1 from 2-8 p.m. with family greeting friends from 5-7 p.m.

    HARLAN -- Nola Anna Schiltz, 85, Harlan, died November 28 at Elm Crest Retirement Community.    Services will be held Wednesday, Dec. 2 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary Our Lady of Fatima Church in Portsmouth with burial in the St. Mary’s Cemetery at Portsmouth.  A rosary will be held Tuesday, Dec. 1 at 7 p.m. at Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Harlan.  Visitation is Tuesday from 5-8 p.m.

    HARLAN -- Melvin K. Dinesen, 73, Harlan, died Friday, Nov. 27 in Omaha.    Services will be held Tuesday, Dec. 1 at 10:30 a.m. at Burmeister-Johannsen Funeral Home in Harlan with burial in the Harlan Cemetery.  Friends were asked to call Monday, Nov. 30 from 1-8 p.m. with family greeting friends from 6-8 p.m.

    HARLAN -- Irene Elizabeth Huebner, 97, Harlan, died November 27 at Elm Crest Retirement Community.    Services will be held Tuesday, Dec. 1 at 11 a.m. at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Harlan with burial in the St. Mary’s Cemetery at Panama.  A rosary was held Monday, Nov. 30 at 7 p.m. at Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Harlan.  Visitation was Monday from 4-8 p.m.

CLINTON -- Daniel Allan Schimerowski, 26, Clinton, died November 23 in Clinton.    Services were held Saturday, Nov. 28 at 11 a.m.

HARLAN -- Howard and Rhoda Henriksen of Harlan will observe their 67th wedding anniversary on November 28.

    HARLAN -- Megan Elizabeth Lytle and Aaron James Boushek both of Boston, MA were married at First United Methodist Church in Harlan on May 30, 2015. The 3:30 p.m. double ring ceremony was performed by Pastor Darwin Moore.    Parents of the couple are Mark and Phyllis Lytle, Harlan; and Randall and Patty Boushek, Elk River, MN.
