 MANNING -- The IKM-Manning football team’s 49-8 rout of West Monona/Whiting last Friday marked a significant career milestone for head coach Tom Casey. Improving his record to 200-103 over 31 seasons, Coach Casey became the 50th coach in Iowa prep football history to join the 200-win club.

Hosack honored for outstanding career

HARLAN -- Longtime Harlan Community assistant football coach and girls track coach Bill Hosack was recognized with a plaque prior to last week’s Cyclone football game for his outstanding career and positive legacy at the school. Hosack served on the HCHS football coaching staff for 38 years (1977 to 2014) and was part of the program’s 11 state championships earned during that time.
